There are a few key differences, including a larger tire for more stability, a higher battery voltage for a higher top speed, longer suspension travel for an improved ride feel, and a few features like the new adjustable pedals. The only downside is that this comes with an additional 10lb weight penalty compared to the Aero, in exchange for some performance improvements, but the machine is still very lightweight compared to other suspension offerings on the market at just 64lbs.
Riders can choose between two pedal insert sizes, a smaller size for reducing the chance of a pedal strike, and a larger size for a more comfortable ride. The inserts are held to the pedal bases with two screws, making removal and installation quick and easy. This also means that you can replace the pedal inserts without having to replace the pedals, which is a plus for longevity and repairability.
It comes with a stock 5A charger, & the maximum recommended rate of charge is 10A/1,510W, which would provide a charge time of under one hour! Thanks to the Leaperkim’s existing 151V lineup, there’s already an established charger market for 151V wheels like the Aeon, and we do offer a Roger charger capable of supplying 10A. The Roger charger also features adjustable amperage, for prolonging the battery packs’ lifespan by charging at lower amperages when possible.
